Charlotte Area Yarn Shops are GIVING BACK!

Knitted Knockers

Once again this year our area's yarn shops are using the Charlotte Area Yarn Crawl, in partnership with the Pink Lady Firetruck, Levine Cancer Institute, and Knitted Knockers to raise awareness about breast and other cancers, and to show our support for cancer patients!  Together, we want to work with YOU to fill the Pink Lady Fire Truck with Knitted Knockers that will be delivered to Levine Cancer Institute!

How can YOU get involved?

STEP 1:  Knit Some Knockers

GET YOUR YARN:  If you want to make some Knitted Knockers, pick up some Knitted Knockers approved yarn at your local yarn shop!  A downloadable, printable list of the most skin-friendly yarns is available HERE!

Free patterns for Knitted Knockers can be found here: DOWNLOAD KNITTED KNOCKER PATTERNS.  Many local yarn shops offer Knitted Knocker help!  Give your favorite shop a call and find out when folks will be there working on Knitted Knockers!

STEP 2:  Drop Your Knockers Off at A Local Yarn Shop

During the yarn crawl, please drop off your Knitted Knockers at one of our area's yarn shops!  Not sure which shop is closest to you?  Look at the Charlotte Area Yarn Crawl Map to see where you can take your Knitted Knockers!

STEP 3:  Join Us For the Knitted Knockers Sendoff!

Join us at Knit One, Stitch Too or Cottage Yarn (or BOTH) to see the Pink Lady Firetruck get filled with Knitted Knockers and watch them head toward Levine Cancer Institute!
