Charlotte Area Yarn Crawl     sept 21-29, 2018

Yarn Crawl Update: Our fiber community is an incredible, interconnected fabric of people - spinners, dyers, weavers, knitters, crocheters, shop owners, and so many more. When any of us are in need of support, we frequently find ourselves loved and cared for by other fiber lovers, near and far. Carol Barringer, owner of Foothill Fiberarts in Statesville, has shared with us that her shop will not be open during the crawl this year as she is facing health challenges. Our yarn shop owners' group asked if we could run the Knitted Knockers drive this year in her honor - to which she said yes.

Charlotte Area Yarn Shops are GIVING BACK!

Knitted Knockers

Please join us in making Knitted Knockers in Carol's honor. The owners of Cottage Yarn and Knit One, Stitch Too are spearheading the Knitted Knocker collection this year, and will be sharing the details about the Pink Lady firetruck's pickup of knockers at their respective stores. Knitted Knockers can be dropped off at ANY of the shops participating in the 10th Annual Charlotte Area yarn Crawl, and will be taken to either Cottage Yarn or Knit One, Stitch Too on the day of the Pink Lady firetruck visit.

Again, thank you for supporting Carol Barringer through this year's Knitted Knocker drive, and for supporting local shops like ours. You are a HUGE part of what makes our fiber community so special - and we appreciate you. -- With gratitude from the local yarn shops in the Charlotte area.

How can YOU get involved?
